สำหรับนิทรรศการส่งท้ายปี 2552 และต้อนรับปี 2553 หอศิลปวิทยนิทรรศน์ได้ถือเอาช่วงเวลานี้เป็นฤกษ์งามยามดีที่มิตรสหายอาจารย์สอนศิลปะของจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยจะได้นำผลงานของตนมาจัดแสดงร่วมกันเป็นครั้งแรกให้สาธารณชนและลูกศิษย์ได้ชื่นชม และแลกเปลี่ยนแนวความคิด ความรู้ โดยใช้ผลงานศิลปะเป็นสื่อ

นิทรรศการ “รวมมิตร แนวคิดศิลปะ” ในครั้งนี้จึงมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการสะท้อนบทบาทของคณาจารย์ในฐานะเป็นผู้สร้างสรรค์บุคลากรให้กับวงการศิลปะไทย และในฐานะผู้พัฒนาองค์ความรู้ด้านศิลปะของประเทศ ซึ่งบทบาทดังกล่าวจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยได้ให้ความสำคัญเป็นอย่างสูงในฐานะสถาบันอุดมศึกษารัฐ

คณาจารย์ที่ร่วมแสดงงานมีทั้งหมด 14 ท่าน ได้แก่

ผลงานในนิทรรศการประกอบไปด้วยงานจิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม ภาพพิมพ์ ภาพถ่าย ตลอดจนถึงงานจัดวาง

นับเป็นโอกาสดีที่มีได้ไม่บ่อยนักที่จะมีการรวบรวมงานจากคณาจารย์แห่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยมาจัดแสดงร่วมกัน ผู้สนใจทั่วไปสามารถชมผลงานเหล่านี้ได้ตั้งแต่ 8 ธันวาคม 2552 ไปจนถึง 23 มกราคม 2553

Muster Up
Exhibition by Visual Art Educators at Chulalongkorn University

At The Art Center, Center of Academic Resources, Chulalongkorn University
December 8, 2009 – January 23, 2010
Opening Reception: Tuesday December 8, 2009, 6-8pm

During this season of celebrations, The Art Center would like to present a very special exhibition where visual art educators from the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, have mustered up to show their works together for the first time. An occasion to delight artists, students and the public alike, the show is intended to enable an exchange of knowledge and artistic dialogue.

Marking an important milestone for Thailand’s art scene which highlights the collective potentials of Chulalongkorn University, “Muster Up” is a testimony to these art educators’ dedication to developing new artists and knowledge in art education.

The 14 participating artists are:

Techniques include painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and installation.

It is an extremely rare event for these many Chulalongkorn art lecturers to put on a show together. The exhibition goes on display from December 8, 2009 to January 23, 2010.
